Small classes are led by dedicated Arts & Sciences faculty, many with experience in the field of writing and communications.     JWU’s School of Science & Liberal Arts is part of our College of Arts & Sciences, which offers professionally-focused degree programs rooted in the liberal arts. They are designed to provide the transferable skills and professional competencies necessary for both long-term career progression and engaged citizenship. Connect with faculty who work in a wide range of academic fields, and pursue a more applied approach to a liberal education. The college also provides the A&S Core Experience — embedded in all of JWU’s varied degree programs — to help you develop the skills identified by employers as most critical to professional success: effective communication, critical and creative thinking, quantitative literacy and ethical reasoning.
